Andy joined acumen in 2008 and has led a number of high profile global aviation design and development projects, in seating and cabin interior design. He is a named inventor on a number of acumen patents, including the Adient Assent seat which was originally conceived within the acumen team. Andy studied Transport Design at Coventry University and began his career designing award winning yacht interiors. Andy’s core expertise is his blue sky thinking and fast concept ideation that tackles demanding briefs head on, challenging the status quo. He enjoys exploring and defining the creative direction at an early stage in the design process, establishing the design language and styling in conjunction with the CMF team to bring concepts to life and inform development.
