Peren started his career in travel, working for a variety of holiday and villa rental companies. His finance career took off within the creative industry, when he worked for various interior design companies in London in the 1980’s. He joined Murdoch Design Associates as Financial Controller in 1991 and became Financial Director at acumen in 2005. Peren plays a crucial role in providing a consistent and experienced hand in the financial management of the company. Renowned for his love of wine within the acumen team and in particular ‘Argentinian Malbec’, Peren knows that ‘design’ like quality wine needs the right environment to flourish and mature.
His role extends from the day to day operational management of the business, ensuring that the team have the right tools and resources to deliver creative excellence - through to the coordination of contracts, overseeing the protection of acumen’s intellectual property and overall responsibility for the companies’ financial accounting and reporting. Peren’s patience and attention to detail, helps ensure acumen can deliver first class design on time and on budget.
